Auction Night Details
Location
The Gala will take place at Rancho Christian School at 31300 Rancho Community Way, Temecula, CA.
Tickets
Tickets are available online, here on this website through February 19, 2018. If you want to pay with check or cash, please contact Mrs. Betsy Kunau at betsy.kunau@ranchochristian.org or 951.303.1408. Tickets are not available at the door. Adults only, please (Childcare available through Extreme Kids Night Out for children grades K-6).
Attire
Attire is "semi-formal." Suits and nice "evening-style" dresses are recommended. Jeans are not allowed. The Gala is a great excuse to play grown-up dress up and have a date night!
Check-In
Please check in at the welcome table upon arrival. You will receive your table number, bid number/paddle, and have the opportunity to swipe your credit card for a fast and easy checkout process.
Seating
Guests will be assigned to tables. You will receive your table assignment at check-in on the evening of the event. If you wish to sit with friends, please indicate your preferences in the "Special Accommodations" section during online registration, or by contacting Betsy Kunau at betsy.kunau@ranchochristian.org by February 19. The committee will do its very best to accommodate your request.
Food & Beverages
Passed hors d'oeuvres will be served beginning at 6:00 pm during the Silent Auction, followed by a delicious three-course seated dinner featuring salad, main dish and a gourmet cookie dessert. Dietary restrictions will be accommodated upon request (requests must be made prior to event). Complimentary wine, specialty non-alcoholic beverages, water, and coffee are available throughout the entire evening. Silent & Live Auctions
The Silent Auction will begin at 6:00 pm. The Silent Auction will be followed by dinner, the Live Auction and student performance.
Other Events
During the Silent Auction, guests will have the opportunity to participate in two "flat rate" auction activities that support Rancho Christian School. The "Wine Pull" is a fun game of chance - participants purchase the chance to select a numbered wine cork for $20 that corresponds to one of 30 wine bottles valued at $20 or more. The catch? The number is hidden on the bottom of the cork, so only after the participant has paid and selected their cork, will they discover the bottle they have won. It could be a $20 bottle or it could be a $75 bottle! Guests also have the opportunity to participate in the "Ultimate Wish List" . Teachers have identified items from $25-$200 that would add value to their classroom activities; guests have the opportunity to purchase those items by selecting the item and placing their bid number next to it. Payment for these activities takes place at check-out.
Payment & Check-Out
Our payment and check-out process is easier than ever! Simply swipe your credit card when you check in for an automatic payment, or stop by the welcome table to pay for your items using a check or credit card. Volunteers will be available to assist you with all steps in the check-out process. If you have a large item that you cannot bring with you immediately, or you simply wish to pick up your items at a later time, please notify a check-out volunteer to request that the item be picked up the week of the Gala. Items not picked up by March 4 will be offered to the second highest bidder, but your money will not be refunded.
